Tanaka Power Equipment

Tanaka Power Equipment manufactured commercial-grade gas-powered tools, lawn and garden equipment, and two-stroke engines. As part of an overall corporate rebranding project we developed graphics and packaging for all their products, plus supporting print collateral including product catalogs, point-of-purchase display materials and branded apparel, as well as graphic treatments for a custom trade show booth. The new brand was characterized by a cool color palette and a strong technical aesthetic. This served to clearly distinguish them from the more industrial appearance of their competitors and is a visual reminder of the technical quality behind their products. Tanaka was subsequently purchased by Hitachi.
