Boots in the Woods, sponsored by local non-profit IslandWood, was a summit designed to encourage discussion of positive change for the military community through outdoor engagement and workforce development opportunities when transitioning to life after military service.

I'm an award-winning graphic designer - which means I've paid a bunch of money to graphic design publications in order to have peers in my field  judge my work and give me a certificate with a gold star on it. Awards are nice but they are based purely on aesthetic. They don't take into consideration project scope, the discovery process, my design process, and, most importantly, the impact my design work had on my client's bottom line. A great designer once said, "Good graphic design solves real business problems, because if it doesn't it's just decorating."

 

What this boils down to  –  I'm an award winning graphic designer who solves real business problems for my clients.

 

Partnering with talented, driven, collaborative people and creating lasting, meaningful work is my passion.
